Absolutely! Whether it’s your neck, shoulders, lower back, or another area, I can tailor the session to target your problem areas.

Before My Appointment

How early should I arrive for my appointment?
If it’s your first visit, arriving 5-10 minutes early allows time to go over your health history form as well as any other necessary forms. Otherwise, arriving on time is perfect.

What should I wear for my massage?
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. During the session, you may undress to your comfort level, as you will be properly draped at all times.

Should I eat before my massage?
It’s best to have a light meal at least an hour before your session. Avoid heavy meals right before your appointment.
Do I need to fill out any forms before my session?
Yes, a thorough health history form will be required for new clients. This helps me understand your health history and tailor your massage accordingly. If we work on any sensitive areas such as the gluteal muscles, chest, breast, or upper inner thighs, a separate sensitive consent form will also be required to provide you with comfort and safety before treatment.
Provider billing authorization forms are also required if we proceed with direct billing but all of these forms can be emailed to you in advance so the forms don't cut into your massage time.

During My Massage
Do I have to remove all my clothing... even my underwear?
You should undress to your comfort level. You will always be professionally draped, with only the area being worked on exposed. Some clients like to take off everything but it's totally up to you and your private parts are always covered!
Can I talk during my massage?
Absolutely! Some clients like to chat, while others prefer silence. Do what feels best for you and if you have a preference, please let me know so I can make sure you have the best experience.

What if I feel discomfort during the session?
Please speak up! Whether it’s pressure, temperature, or positioning, I can adjust to ensure your comfort. I never want my clients to feel shy to let me know if they are uncomfortable.
Will lotion or oil be used? Can I request a specific type?
Yes, I use high-quality, hypoallergenic lotions and oils. If you have a preference or allergies, please let me know in advance.
Can I request a specific pressure level?
Definitely! Every massage is customized to your needs, so let me know if you prefer light, medium, or deep pressure.

What if I fall asleep during my massage?
That’s completely normal! Many clients fall asleep during a session because massage is deeply relaxing.

Do you play music during the session? Can I request my own music?
Yes, I play calming music by default, but you’re welcome to request a specific genre or bring your own playlist.

What if I feel self-conscious about my body?
Massage is a judgment-free zone. I focus on your wellness, not appearances. You will always be professionally draped for comfort and privacy.

What if I have sensitive skin or allergies?
Please let me know in advance if you have any sensitivities or allergies, and I can use hypoallergenic oils or lotions.

Can I bring a friend or family member to my appointment?
If you need someone to accompany you, that’s fine, but they may need to wait in the reception area during your session.
Is massage painful?
Massage should never be excessively painful. Deep tissue work may cause some discomfort, but I always adjust pressure to your comfort level and you should never feel uncomfortable to speak up if you don't like something.
Can I request a specific massage table temperature or room setup?
Yes! Don't hesitate to let me know if you prefer a warmer table, extra pillows, or any other adjustments to enhance your comfort.
After Your Appointment
What should I do after my massage for the best results?
Drink plenty of water, avoid strenuous activity for a few hours, and allow yourself time to relax.

Will I feel sore after my massage?
Some mild soreness may be experienced, similar to post-workout stiffness. Any soreness usually fades within a day or two or up to three days for deep tissue treatments.

How often should I get a massage?
It depends on your goals. For general wellness, once a month is great. If you're managing pain or stress, weekly or biweekly sessions may be more beneficial.

Do you offer packages or memberships for regular clients?
Not at this time.
