Welcome! My name is Karli Rose Sinisi, and I am a dedicated and passionate Registered Massage Therapist, proud to offer therapeutic massage services from my cozy and inviting studio in Richmond Hill. With over 10 years of experience in the field, I specialize in providing personalized care to meet your unique health and wellness goals. Whether you're seeking relief from pain, stress, or simply looking to enhance your overall well-being, I am committed to offering effective and tailored treatments that focus on your specific needs.
My journey into massage therapy began more than 12 years ago in a rather unexpected way. While volunteering at a local homeless shelter in Portland, Jamaica, I found myself helping a colleague alleviate tension in their shoulders after a physically demanding day of work. This simple, yet transformative experience made me realize the profound impact that touch and massage could have on the body and mind. It was in that moment that I discovered my calling to help and heal others through the therapeutic power of touch. Motivated by this realization, I enrolled in Bryan College, where I graduated in 2014 and began my professional career.
Since then, I have had the privilege of working in a wide variety of settings, which have contributed to my extensive skill set and deepened my understanding of diverse client needs. I have worked in well-known spa chains, both large and small clinics, a Muay Thai boxing club, a luxury 5-star couples resort in the picturesque Algonquin Park, and have even served as an outreach supervisor at Bryan College, where I helped teach and mentor future massage therapists. These experiences have not only broadened my expertise but have also inspired me to create a practice that prioritizes comfort, trust, and a personalized approach. After years of gaining invaluable experience, I made the decision to open my own home-based practice where I could offer a more comfortable, relaxed environment for my clients to experience the healing benefits of massage therapy.
Outside of my professional life, I am a proud mother to a vibrant 6 year-old daughter and a loving stepmom to a wonderful 12-year-old boy. My family and I share our home with an assortment of animals, including three dogs, a cat, a turtle, and many fish, which bring a great sense of joy and connection to nature. I am also deeply committed to my own physical health and well-being, regularly participating in activities like dancing, rock climbing, weightlifting, and especially hot yoga. These practices not only keep me physically fit but also remind me of the importance of self-care, balance, and mental clarity.
